2023 has been a terrific year! Performance highlights included performances at the World Harp Festival, Forestfest, Feile Nasc, Worldfest Lodzie, Bernards Summer School, Sychrov Highland Games, Clancy Brothers Festival, There were some enjoyable  workshops as well at Scoil Eigse, Bernards Summer School, Brittany Winter School, Spink Music Festival, National Opera House, Clasac, Rahan and  Wexford.

Its been great working on Tara Viscardi’s ‘Beara’ Suite, with performances at the Wales Harp Festival last April and Return to London Town in October. We spent a week recording the suite with Ben Rawlins and Laoise O’Brien on the  Beara Peninsula at Halloween, looking forward to touring the suite again at Easter 2024!

Lovely to play on Carmel Whelan and Justine Nantale’s ‘The River Carries Us Home’ in 1 Windmill Lane and The Bord Gais Energy Theatre last May-Looking forward to the release of the song very soon!

Ceoltoirí Óga Laighean performed ‘The Gathering of Leinster’ at the National Opera House, Wexford in March and further performances of the suite took place at Killeshandra Trad Fest, Tullamore Trad Fest, Leinster Fleadh and Fleadh Cheoil na Éireann. We’re looking forward to performing again in Glasgow on 27th January and the release of a CD later in the year!
